Privacy
Your photos are yours. We keep them only long enough to make the pack, we never use them to train anything, and you can delete them at any moment with one button. The details are below, in plain words.
What we hold
For each pack we hold the photos you uploaded, the previews and restored versions we made from them, and the print files, share card, video and animation that belong to the pack.
Alongside that we keep the small amount of information needed to run the order: the email address you gave at checkout, the pack you chose, when you paid, the language of the page and a record of the payment from the payment provider. If you asked for a refund, we keep the fact that you did and the reason if you gave one.
We do not hold an account, a password, a name, an address or a phone number, because we never ask for them. The pack link is the only login. Please keep it.
How long, and how to delete
Everything in a paid pack is deleted 30 days after purchase. That includes your originals, every version we made and the files you could download. Unpaid packs, meaning previews you looked at but did not buy, are deleted after 7 days.
You do not have to wait. There is a delete button on your photos page. Press it and the files are removed straight away. The order record stays, with no photos in it, because we need to be able to answer a question about a payment.
Download what you want to keep before the deletion date. The link is the only way back to the files and we cannot recover them once they are gone.
Who else sees your photos
Four outside services take part.
The rendering service receives a copy of each photo for the seconds a render takes, then returns the result. It does not keep the image afterwards. A second AI service receives a small (768 px) copy of each photo once, to refuse explicit content and non-photographs and to write the one-line description and the era guess shown only to you on your page; that description is stored with the pack and deleted with it. The payment provider sees your email address and the payment and never a photo. The email service sends the receipt and the link.
The page's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, a request that reveals your IP address to Google and sets no cookies. We keep your IP address for one day of rate limiting and remove it when the pack is deleted.
Nobody else. We do not sell, share, license or show your photos to anyone, and no advertising company is involved anywhere on this site.
- Rendering service: sees a copy of the photo for seconds, keeps nothing
- Second AI service: sees a small copy once, writes the one-line description, keeps nothing
- Payment provider: sees your email and payment, never a photo
- Email service: sends the receipt and the link
- Google Fonts: sees your IP address when the fonts load, no cookies
No training, no face database
Your photos are used for one thing: making your pack. They are never used to train, tune, test or improve any model, ours or anyone else's. We do not build a database of faces, and we do not compare your photos with anyone else's.
The automated check that runs before a restoration is there to refuse sexual content and files that are not photographs, and to write the one-line description and the era guess you see on your page. That description is kept with the pack and deleted with it.
Consent and children
Please upload only your own photos or those of your family. Do not upload strangers or public figures without their agreement. If a living person is in the photo and you are not sure they would want it restored, ask them first.
Old family photos often show children, and that is expected. What we ask is that you are the person who has the right to those photos: a parent, a grandparent, a family member. We do not knowingly take uploads from anyone under 16, and we will delete a pack on request from a parent or guardian.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. If you switch between the light and dark theme, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the page opens the same way next time; it never leaves your device.
We count visits with cookieless analytics that record the page, the country and a few events such as preview started or pack purchased. No user content, no photos, no email addresses, no identifiers that follow you across sites, and never the link to your pack.
A few days after delivery we send one reminder email about the next occasion, with your print files still on the page. It has a one-click stop link, and we stop the moment you press it.
Your rights
You can see what we hold, get a copy of it, correct it or have it deleted. The delete button on your photos page does most of that instantly. For anything else, write to revive@autofract.com from the address you used at checkout and we answer within a few days.
If you are in the European Union you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We would rather you write to us first, so we can fix it.
